Downs Quarter Horses is located on a working farm in Tanner, Alabama. Growing mainly corn and cotton, the farm has been in the Downs family since 1944.
Our objective is to breed and raise high quality ranch horses of Blue Valentine, Driftwood and Hancock breeding.
Our selective breeding program produces big, pretty headed horses with heavy muscle, big bones, and sound feet.
These horses are good minded, easily trained and are well suited for day work on the ranch, trail riding, or the horse show arena.
